About Oxford-Alley

Building a Dream

This is much more than another classic car build.  This is a chance for me to reconnect with some old friends, meet new friends, and learn all about cars, not just any cars. Cool cars that go fast! We are building what cannot be bought! Join me and a few friends as we learn everything C3 corvette.

The Car

1976 Stingray Corvette. The last of the C3 Stingrays. This car rolled off the line a silver, 4

speed, L-42, with leather. A/C, and power brakes. The plan for this build is to add some of the technology and performance advancements that have happened over the past 50 years (since the

first C3 rolled off the line).

The Build

We are starting off with +500HP 396ci engine from BluePrint Engines. American powertrain got us set up with 5 speed Tremec TKX transmission that should retain the factory look. We decided to go with a Holley Sniper EFI system with means we will need to upgrade all the

factory fuel lines. Lonestar Calipers are there to help with brakes. The Ridetech Strong Arm Suspension system is the plan for the rear suspension and trailing arms. If that isn’t cool enough, we are topping it off with Vintage Air.

The Goal

The point of this is to have fun and build an online presence for my love of cars and the brotherhood that come along with “car guy culture”. Sharing tool reviews, learning new skills, and all the experiences along the way. Once the build is over, look for us on the Power Tour or Drag Week.

Keep it Classy

The plan for this build is to add some of the technology and performance advancements that happen over the past 50 years since the first C3 rolled off the line. Everything from upgraded suspension and brakes to Vintage Air.
